This Privacy Policy explains how FriendZ (the "App", "Service") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. FriendZ is intended solely for adults aged 18 and over.
1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect
When you use the App, we may collect the following categories of data:

The App does not use a voice message / audio recording feature and does not collect audio recordings. We do not collect location data.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the Service (create your account, store and sync your chats).
- To enable AI characters to generate responses to your messages.
- To manage and verify subscriptions and in-app purchases.
- To send push notifications (if you have granted permission).
- To improve the Service, fix bugs, and protect security and prevent abuse.
- For measurement, analytics, and — where you consent — marketing/attribution purposes.
4. AI Processing
To provide the chat experience, the content of your messages is transmitted to our third-party artificial intelligence provider OpenAI to generate responses. Please note that AI characters are not real people; their responses are fictional and are not a substitute for professional (medical, legal, psychological, etc.) advice. We recommend that you do not share sensitive personal information in chats.
5. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. Your data may be shared with the following service providers (only to the extent necessary) to provide the Service:

6. Advertising and Tracking
We may use your device's advertising identifier (AAID/IDFA) for advertising measurement and analytics. On iOS this is managed through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission; on Android it is managed through your device settings. You can withdraw tracking permission at any time from your device settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required to comply with our legal obligations. When you delete your account, your related data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encrypted transmission and access controls) to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
9. Your Rights and Data Deletion
Depending on applicable law (such as GDPR/CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, and object to the processing of your data.
To delete your account and data: you can use the account deletion option in the in-app settings, or send an email with the subject "Account Deletion" to epinkolimited@gmail.com. Your request will be processed within a reasonable period.
10. Children's Privacy & Child Safety
FriendZ is intended solely for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will delete it and terminate the account.

11. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in the countries where our service providers operate (including on servers outside your country). We take steps to ensure your data is adequately protected in such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting them in the App or on this page. The current version is always available at this address.
